Café Diem was founded in 2000 with a vision to redefine the café experience—elevating coffee culture while creating a welcoming, homey atmosphere. What began as a small family-run café has flourished, expanding to Ankeny (2006) and DMACC (2014), all while maintaining our unwavering commitment to quality and hospitality.

We believe in the power of community engagement and leadership. Our involvement in chamber boards and local initiatives reflects our deep investment in Ankeny and beyond. But perhaps our most important investment is in our employees, whom we empower through market research trips, ongoing training, and professional growth opportunities.
